Every Saxon SolarStar 400L Heatpump water heater that is sold in Australia is awarded 38 Renewable Energy Certificates (RECS) by the Australian Office of the Renewable Energy Regulator.
The 38 REC rating is a measure of the energy saved by the Saxon SolarStar over ten years compared to a standard electric element water heater.
